DAY TEN of the Olympics is here - and Team GB have picked up TWO golds while Simone Biles had to be content with another silver.
Team GB picked up a brilliant gold medal in the women's team sprint inside the velodrome, with Katy Marchant, Sophie Capewell and Emma Finucane setting a new world record in all THREE of their races. Keeley Hodgkinson then secured a brilliant 800m gold in the evening.
Earlier, the Brits had agonisingly missed out on mixed triathlon gold in the first medal event of the day, finishing in third place, while Kimberley Woods (bronze) and Joe Clarke (silver) both brought home medals in the kayak cross.
Elsewhere, gymnastics legend Simone Biles failed to win gold in her final two events of the games, coming fifth in the beam final after a fall and winning silver in the floor event.

Champion Whitlock 'proud' of career
Max Whitlock's time as a gymnastic may not have ended in the glory that was so widespread throughout his career, but the Englishman admits he is proud of what he achieved in the spot.
The 31-year-old finished fourth in his final ever event, the Pommel Horse in which he won gold in at both Rio and Tokyo.
On retiring, Whitlock has said he hopes to put his efforts into help developing gymnastics at grassroots level.
I would love for it to have ended better in Paris, but it is what it is. I don't want anyone to see how I am now and look it as a reflection of my career. I am so proud to be standing here today.
It was a challenge to get here. I could have quit after Tokyo, but I decided to come back. Giving it a good shot and the opportunity is the way forward rather than quitting out of a fear of failure.

Ireland's first ever gymnastic medal!
What a moment for Rhys McClenaghan!
The 25-year-old from Antrim takes the Gold in the Pommel Horse, adding to his two World Championship wins.
It was a nervous wait for McClenaghan, who had to watched on as Woong Hur took to the horse.
But a fall from the Korean took him out of contention, even though he recovered to record a remarkable score of 14.300 in the circ*mstances.
Cue joy in McClenaghan's camp, whose score of 15.533 is worthy of his excellent form coming into Paris 2024.
Nariman Kurbanov of Kazakhstan, who went first, collected the silver while USA superman Stephen Nedoroscik finished third for bronze.
In what was his final hurrah, British legend Max Whitlock finished fourth.
- Gold: Rhys McClenaghan (Ireland)
- Silver: Nariman Kurbanov (Kazakhstan)
- Bronze: Stephen Nedoroscik (USA)

Whitlock out of medal positions
Max Whitlock will not call time on his glittering gymnastics with one final medal.
The six-time Olympic medalist has just been pushed into fourth place in the Pommel Horse by American Stephen Nedoroscik.
Whitlock has already made history by becoming the first male gymnast to represent Team GB at four Olympic Games.
But there will be no fourth straight podium finish in this event for the 31-year-old.
Irishman Rhys McClenaghan leads the way with a sparkling score of 15.533.

Khelif wins by unanimous decision
The fighters embrace at the final bell.
Imane Khelif wins again - and this bout at least went the distance.
It wasn't a completely straightforward end for the Algerian, who was docked a point in the final round for holding.
But such was her dominance that even that couldn't stop the judges from unanimously scoring it in her favour.
And at the end of a difficult few days for the 25-year-old, the emotion is clear to see as she breaks down in tears of joy with her coaches.
Khelif rises on to the ropes to celebrate with her supporters, and will go on to face Janjaem Suwannapheng in the semi-finals, guaranteeing herself an Olympic medal in the process.

Khelif edges the opener
Imane Khelif came out for the first round on the front foot and scored some good early punches.
But Hamori came back into it as the opening three minutes progressed.
A strong right-hander from the Algerian in the final seconds was enough to see Khelif take the first 10-9 on all five judges' cards.

Here come the boxers.
Absolutely deafening cheers for Khelif - she has got the crowd behind her and makes the short ring walk shadow boxing in the direction of her partisan supporters before a Cristiano Ronaldo-esque 'siuu' celebration.
Then it is time for Hungary's Hamori who is jeered and booed.
She appears to be loving it though.

SunSport's Joshua Jones from Paris
Khelif's dramatic win on Thursday was the 46th of her amateur career.
It took her record to 37-9 but was undoubtedly the most talked about bout she has ever had.
While there has been plenty of voices weighing in to the debate, it is important to remember that Khelif was identified as a female at birth, has always lived as a female and the exact and full details of the International Boxing Association'sgender test in March 2023 remain undisclosed.
The IBA claim Khelif was found to have boosted testosterone levels and the male XY chromosomes - she appealed the decision to the Court of Arbitration for Sport before withdrawing it.

The main interestcomes in the 5.22pm local time (4.22pm BST) bout as Imane Khelif takes on Hungarian Anna Luca Hamori in the quarter-finals of the women's 66kg division.
Khelif beat Angela Carini on Thursday with the Italian quitting after just 46 seconds and two punches to the face.

Good news from 170 miles south of Paris at Chateauroux as Amber Rutter has made a perfect start to the women’s skeet.
Rutter was due to be the favourite for gold in Tokyo only to contract Covid days before she was supposed to fly to Japan and was ruled out of contention.
But she scored 50 out of 50 over the first two rounds, with one more series of 25 shots to go today.
It is so tight, though. The top six after 125 shots over two days reach the medal shoot-off but there are currently 12 athletes who have scored 48 or more.
