Is Intercape always on time? ›

We do not guarantee departure and arrival times, but we do endeavour to be as punctual as possible under circ*mstances within our control.

Go Greyhound. I have travelled intercape a 4 times and everytime the bus has broken down / been late / been overcrowded. It has been an awful experience with them. Intercape has got a reputation of always running late, so yes i will also support the idea of going with the Greyhound Bus Company.

Generally, it's a good idea to book at least a few weeks in advance, but some companies offer discounts for booking even earlier than that. You also should take your timing and the seasons into consideration.

Passengers are allowed to bring luggage with total dimensions up to 160 cm (63 inches) (length + width + height) and a weight up to 20 kg. It is recommended to board with bags no larger than a briefcase. Larger bags, such as suitcases, must be stored in the storage space on the bus.
